Task 5

Cover design by: OstrichCurtains
Welcome to week 5 builders. For this weeks task you're to create an architectural structure using just 7 different types of furniture. This task is meant to test your creativity and resourcefulness; as well as your stacking abilities. Listed below are the 7 furniture items used in the cover photo. Good luck!

Room Size: 8x8
What a week it's been; 2 designers have prematurely left the competition - 1 of them without a reason. The amount of time we take as judges to not only critique your builds but to display it on a website is insane. We put a lot of time into making this interactive and fun for viewers and the cast. We appreciate those who have put their 100% in this competition and it doesn't go unnoticed. Upcoming Long-Terms hosted by us will not include those that quit. It's not fair.

I commend you on the creativity, the decision to change a furniture items state to look like another furniture item was pretty clever. The stacking is a bit questionable but I really love the feel of this pagoda and the textures and colours you incorporated. The vase pillars are a nice touch as well. Overall nothing shy from creative; well done.

I don't think this was your strongest week. The design overall is a bit underwhelming. heh this is actually the first room you made in this competition that did not impress me. Everything else has been top notch. I do enjoy the palette you went with and the smart way of changing some of the furni to give us more variety.

The palette is refreshing and unique. I love the way you combined furniture to give it dimension and yet you still managed to keep it clean. I'm able to admire each aspect as it's a fairly straightforward build but it still holds a lot of power. Very impressive. I think the scale in which you built it was interesting as it looks a lot smaller but you still managed to accomplish so much. Thanks!

The size of this room fooled me for a second when I first saw it. I love how dimensional and and complete it looks for such a tiny room. The colours go really well together and that small sign is just the cherry on top. Amazing work.

Inventive use of furni and immaculate colour palette. The whole room has a theme and a specific tone that just works really well. It is a rather inspiring room. Great work bebkak. Welcome to final 3.
This is superb. I love the rustic vibe you went with this week; it kept it interesting in comparison to the other builds. Stood out in my opinion as more accomplished and inventive. The use of the beehives to create the siding was ingenious and it matched the other colours and textures you added with it. Overall a very proud and accomplished build. Tedious and unique. Thanks!
