Good luck builders!

Congratulations Builders! You have successfully completed your seventh task. This is such a peak task, a turning point in this competition. You took your (non-mainstream) prompts and created some of the best room designs we’ve seen all season. This was very hard week to rank, for that we appreciate your patience. With only 1 more task left before the finale, you have 1 more chance to show us why you deserve to be in the finale. Good luck! Please see the progress page for your individual ranking. Thanks!

Stunning! Upon further inspection you can really appreciate all of the tedious work and stacking you put into this design. The use of the lodge walls to create the step between levels... fantastic. You created an elaborate shape to your room that plays nicely with the overall feel of your chosen prompt. The space is adorned with so many elements that elevate the design entirely. The layered countertops, the photos used as the exterior landscape, not to mention the dining alcove you created. Overall this is a very complex arrangement of your abilities that are so very much appreciated at this stage of the competition. Well done! Keep it up!

Cozzy and creative. Not only is this a splendid take on the movie, it’s also done so well, it took me a few moments to fully realize all the stacking and work that went into this. The way this is conceived is downright professional, it almost looks effortless! From the small details of  the hidden walls thickening the floors to the brilliant play of isometric depth on the kitchen counters to hidden details all over, I had a blast figuring them out one by one as I was reviewing the room. Sigan con el buen trabajo.

There is almost too much to look at. The overall composition and craftsmanship that you wield during the construction of this design is other-worldly. Your furniture combinations are sound and uniquely done. Your ideas matched your prompt very well. The layering and stacking of “stuff” to conjure moments from the original scene are very admirable. You made such a small space feel so large. You look at this build and can instantly recognize it. The clothes hanging from the wires, the clutter, the tone and overall aesthetic. This is some amazing work. Definitely your best build to date. Well done this week, a true masterpiece.

I remember finding an artwork of this same scene/background and planning on making this room myself. I never got around to it and right now I don’t even need to. You have managed to perfectly capture the essence and magic of this subject. You’ve outdone yourself. I doubt I'd come even close to this perfection. Everything in this room is a blessing to look at. The details, the structure and depth, the spectacular and almost obsessive way of forcing lights and shadows to highlight objects on the foreground and background, this is just over the top good work. The world needs to see this.

Woa! I cannot imagine myself building anything equally as good as this, in regards to the combination of furniture you used to make this airplane. This is truly mesmerizing work. The shapes and colours you worked into the design are brilliant. Very much to scale, matching the prompt well. Your decision to maximize on your furniture combination abilities is what I’ve been waiting to see from you this entire season. Your landscape is toned down not to compete with the stacking you created on the airplane. It is balanced, alluring and recognizable. Brilliant! Keep it up.

What a porkly display of pig ridden talent and stacking! Jokes aside, you did create one of the more readable rooms of the week with fantastic skills showing your unique point of view. The play of depth and perspective does help a lot in framing the work and giving it life. If something like this came out of you hurrying it up and being busy, I can’t wait to see you at the full potential. Spectacular work as always.

You were able to capture such a unique moment from this film. One that you wouldn’t expect to have caught your attention. This is very well done. You grasped the mining aspect of the world we all know and stacked the elements so well into the landscape, creating a brilliant room shape in the process. The cart has so many recognizable details and attributes that most people wouldn’t incorporate. I really appreciate that you did! The construction and combination of items used to make the cart are tended to perfectly. Overall this is textbook Riverfire at its finest. We are obsessed. Very creative! Keep it up.

While the train scene wouldn’t have been the first scene that comes to mind when I think of Laputa, I’m damn glad I got to experience it as a room. A spectacular creation full of composition, colour and details. The fact that you used light and shadow to highlight sections of it makes this room stand out even more. Very readable with an utmost showing of your unique style, something I can't get enough of.

The Ghibli universe is bursting with unique storytelling and ideas. For someone who was unaware how to approach this task, we thought a bit more research would be involved. You’re so talented and we know with more attention and focus, you could’ve created something worthy of much more praise. At this stage of the competition, this is uninspired, hardly recognizable and rushed. I see where you were going, however, it’s unfinished. Thanks.

Congratulations C0RPSES on your second task win! A ridiculous amount of work went into your concept and construction of your chosen prompt. A truly exciting submission worthy of so much praise. Very well done. We say goodbye to Deathbrand a talented builder that has shown us time and time again why he is worthy of being in this competition. Keep inspiring others with your alternative style of building, it's quite refreshing. Thank you for throwing your hat in the ring, once again. Thanks builders.
